Water Security is one of the most complex issues we are facing today, as we will be running out of water long before we run out of oil. The World Economic Forum, as part of The Network of Global Agenda Councils, has devised a specialised format to address this problem, taking into consideration the interconnections between the issues of water, energy and food globally. This film covers the latest GAC, which took place in Dubai last November. It clearly illustrates the challenges involved in ensuring that we build on sustainable global solutions that don't deprive developing countries from vital resources. It also addresses the role that some of the most prominent business and political leaders play in guaranteeing that governments and companies operate within a sustainable framework.
