Sugarcane ethanol is the most efficient biofuel in commercial use today and can deliver greenhouse gas reductions of up to 90% compared with conventional fuels.

In Brazil almost half of the energy used comes from renewable sources and since last year Brazil is consuming more ethanol than gasoline, making it the primary choice for the Brazilian transport industry.
