3 shoots, 3 countries, 1 day. It’s an apt schedule for a series of films about a global photography competition, Astronomy Photographer of the Year.

Following a successful pitch for the Royal Observatory and less than two weeks of pre-production we were off. 24 hours to capture everything needed to tell the story of three of the winners from around the world.

Each film is designed to excite and inspire, and to connote a little bit of that mystery the night sky evokes in all of us.
